Tour/Activities Committee
A motion was passed to form a committee to coordinate/plan Club car tours and activities. Scott Franklin volunteered to head a committee of 2-3 people. There was much discussion on the role of this committee. One recommendation was to select dates first and then decide on a specific event. This might work in certain instances. Members are encouraged to volunteer to work on the committee and to offer ideas. A list of suggested events and car tours will be put together for discussion.
Bob Martino offered an event to be considered. Mike Jones, an AACA Director, offered his home in Valley Forge and to organize a car tour of the Valley Forge area for next spring. He has run this for AACA in the past.
Another suggestion is to host a swap meet in the fall (similar to Lehigh Valley’s “Steve Ryan Day” in the spring). An invitation would be extended to other Model A clubs. There would be no judging or trophies for the cars.
Money surplus from the MARC Meet
There was discussion and suggestions raised on what to do with the money the Club received from the Meet. We want to put thought into how to use the money wisely and not rush to spend it quickly. So far, money has been used for a few events. Volunteers at the Meet from the North Penn and Lehigh Valley clubs were refunded their Meet registration fee. We held the Appreciation Luncheon on Oct. 29. Dues for 2023 were reduced from $20 to $10. The Holiday Party on Jan. 8 is being subsidized.

If you are unable to find Ethynol-free gasoline, you can pour in an additive (Lucas, Stabil) prior to filling up your tank to keep the gas fresh while it sits over the winter.
