Ed Roth and Diane Hall have agreed to continue as Treasurer and Secretary respectively. In December, nominations will be taken from the floor prior to the voting.
Events to Report on
Oct. 8-11 – AACA Hershey Car Show. Very good show. Best weather. Bob Martino’s ’29 Barrel Truck won a Senior Award.
Oct. 19 – Harleysville Halloween Parade. Tom Hudecki and Mark Howard attended. A very small, community-oriented parade. There is a concern about children getting closer to the cars as the candy is thrown.
Oct. 26 – Tech session at Old Forge. There were not a lot of cars. Inspection and a checklist review of the cars. Antifreeze was checked. Several issues were uncovered and corrected. There was an opportunity to drive another member’s car. For the future Tom Hudecki suggested a tech session at a member’s home/garage to help get problem cars back on the road.
Nov. 2 – Tour of 3 Dog Garage, Boyertown (Ross Myers’ car collection) for DVR-AACA. A wonderful private collection. Very interesting mix of vehicles including race cars and memorabilia. Approx. 80-100 attendees. It was a real privilege to be able to see this collection.

Car Updates
Bob Martino recently purchased a pre-production 1927 Ford and a trailer-full of original Ford parts (some in original boxes) from British Columbia. Included in the purchase was an original 1920’s movie that Ford sent out to dealers, detailing new car features and the manufacturing process. The film was to educate dealers and mechanics before the new cars were put on display. (The Ford film will be featured at the December meeting.)
Ray Sague is putting a new trans in his ’34 Ford.
Bruce Saylor had sold his ’30 Model A about 1½ years ago because of tremors and pain. Since taking magnesium, his tremors and pain have gone away. He just bought a new Model A.
Miscellaneous
Welcome to Charles Beale, a guest at the meeting. In the spring he purchased a ’30 Model A Tudor at a friend’s auction. It had an older restoration and was not running. He did some timing work. He’s still learning about the car and how to drive it.
The 50/50 raffle was won by Al Schneider.
Refreshment list – The refreshment sign-up for some meetings is short some people. Please contact Dini Vigliano to sign up. Refreshment list is posted the Club website.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:00 p.m.
The next meeting will be held on Monday, December 2, 2019 at the Penndale Middle School.
Refreshments for the December meeting will be provided by Beth Howard, Ruth Ann Christ, Carl Berlinger, Gary Volpe.
Minutes prepared by Diane Hall.
