North Penn Model A Ford Club
June 5, 2017 Meeting Minutes
The meeting was called to order at 7:30pm by President Phil Christ. The meeting was held
at the Penndale Middle School, Lansdale, PA There was 40 members present.
Ken Valeri introduced his guest Linda Morgan.
Secretary’s Report- The May minutes were approved as read.
Treasurer’s Report- Ed Roth reviewed finances for April and May. The treasury balance
is $4717.79. The North Penn High School car show was discussed at this time. The students
fund this show with their own money. A motion was made and seconded to donate
$200.00 to their club. $94.50 of the $200.00 donation will cover our member’s lunch.
Old Business- Past events were discussed. The tour to the Keith House and Wings of
Freedom Museum. The Goschenhoppen Spring Frolic. The Collegeville Memorial Day parade
had a poor turn out due to weather.
New Business- Rich Andrews is recovering from minor surgery.
A proposal was made by Tom Hudecki for a mentors program. New club members would
have an individual to contact with questions regarding where to get help with Model A
parts, repairs and supplies. Numerous members signed on to offer help.
Martha Kriebel will organize a July 4th Military Remembrance Service.
A NPMAFC tour and obstacle course is in the planning stage. Possible dates are October
21st or October 28th.
Howard Kriebel purchased a 1931 right hand drive roadster pick-up.

July 4th- Oreland and Glenside parades.
July 15th- Doylestown at Dusk Car Show

August 3rd – 6th Macungie Car Show. Breakfast at the Wood’s Saturday the 5th, 8am
August 19th- Eastwood Company, Pottstown, PA Model A Ford show
September 2nd- Duryea Day, Boyertown, PA
September 9th Hay Creek Festival
September 16th- Schwenkfelder Church Country Fair, car show
September 23rd- Peter Becker Community Day, car show
Tech Talk- Tony Russo completed his detailing presentation on tops and upholstery.
50-50 Drawling- Won by Ken Valeri. Ken donated his winning back to the club.
The drawling amount of $77.00 will be donated to charity.
The NPMAFC September meeting date and location will be announced.
September Refreshments- Shirley Kernechel, Al Schneider, Marvin McKown, Fred Coyne
