Minutes of the Meeting – February 6, 2023
The meeting, held at Trinity UCC Church, was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by President Carol Allen. There were 26 members and 2 guests attending.
Secretary’s Minutes – The minutes of the December meeting were approved as written.
Treasurer’s Report – The balance in the Club account was $4159.40 at the end of January. The balance in the MARC Meet account is $17,112.70. The MARC Meet account will probably be closed later this year and the balance rolled into the Club bank account or another financial vehicle that Treasurer Phil Christ is looking into.

Tour/Activities Committee
Tom Hudecki has been working hard to develop a schedule of activities and car tours for this coming year. Tom’s focus is on driving our cars. In the past people drove their Model A’s in all types of weather. Most of the activities that Tom has developed are local and an easy drive.
The remainder of the meeting was spent reviewing and discussing Tom’s schedule of activities for the year – listed below.

Updates on Cars
This was the 6th year Bob Martino was asked to display a vehicle at the Philadelphia Car Show. He took his Phaeton. He showed his panel truck at Hershey and won 1st Junior award. Bob will be showing the truck in the Zenith Competition in Iowa (the first Model A to be shown in the Zenith competition).
Next Meeting
The next meeting will be held on Monday evening, March 6, 2023, at 7:00 pm at Trinity UCC Church (2009 Church Road, Skippack, PA 19474).
Refreshments will be provided by Kriebel, Martino, Perry Rogers, Ogle and DeHaven.

Update on Members
- Al Schneider passed away on February 1. He was 86 years old. Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 11, at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in King of Prussia. Visitation 9:00-10:00 a.m. and service at 10:00 a.m.
- Dave Whitmire had Covid which developed into double pneumonia. He is improving every day.
- Carol Coyne broke her hip. She had surgery and is improving in rehab. She should be home by next weekend.
- Karen Roth is relinquishing her Sunshine duties. Sue Wood has agreed to take over this post.
Past Events
- Dec. 3 – Souderton Holiday Parade. Car participation was cancelled because of rain.
- Jan. 1 – New Year’s Day car tour of several local senior living facilities, followed by a covered-dish lunch at Dave and Sue Wood’s. This was cancelled due to weather and low sign-up.
- Jan. 8 – Holiday Party at the Bay Pony Inn. As always, this was a well-attended, fun-filled evening. The special awards were presented at the party: Most Helpful – Steven Sensenich; Most Spirited – Sue Wood and the Rusty Wrench – Diane Hall.

- Feb. 19 – Bucks County Civil War Museum (32 N. Broad St, Doylestown, PA). Meet at the museum at 10:30 a.m. where we will have a private tour. Admission is free. - March 5 – Hamburg Swap Meet and Car Corral. 7am-2pm Hamburg Fire Co. Field House (1127 South Fourth St, Hamburg, PA 19526) Sponsored by the Ontelaunee Region AAC
- March 25 – Museum of Indian Culture (2825 Fish Hatchery Road, Allentown 18103), followed by lunch
- April 1 – Morgan Log House Tour (850 Weikel Road, Towamencin Twp, Lansdale 19446) House is open 11am-4pm
- April 16, 2023 – MARC Membership Meet, Bay City, MI
- April 30 – Steve Ryan Show and Swap Meet, Trexlertown. Sponsored by the Lehigh Valley Model A Club and the Trexlertown Fire Co.
- May 6 – Pottsgrove Manor “Annual Colonial Mayfair” (100 W. King St, Pottstown 19464) 11am-5pm. Free parking at Pottstown Memorial Park, with shuttle to Manor
- May 20 – Pennypacker Mills (5 Haldeman Road, Schwenksville 19473) – “Patriots Along the Perkiomen – The Continental Line at Pennypacker Mills” 10am-5pm
