Minutes of the Meeting – December 5, 2022
The meeting, held at Trinity UCC Church, was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by President Bob Martino. There were 30 attendees.
Secretary’s Minutes – The minutes of the November meeting were approved as written.
Treasurer’s Report – The balance in the Club account is $5168.40. The balance in the MARC Meet account is $17,112.70. Approximately 2/3’s of current members have renewed their dues for 2023.

New Business
Tour/Activities Committee
Due to his work schedule, Scott Franklin will be unable to head this committee. Tom Hudecki will head this new committee, with Tony Russo and Jack Wright assisting. Tom presented some ideas including Pennypacker Mills, Hopewell Furnace, train ride from Port Clinton to JimThorpe, 3-day trip to Gettysburg. Members are encouraged to offer ideas and to run an activity. A list of suggested events and car tours will be put together for discussion.

Updates on Cars
Bob ended the meeting by thanking everyone in the club for their help during the year organizing and putting on the MARC National Meet. It was a lot of work and it was greatly appreciated. Bob continues to receive messages that it was the most successful Meet ever.
Next Meeting
There is no meeting in January. The next meeting will be held on Monday evening, Feb. 6, 2023, at 7:00 pm at Trinity UCC Church (2009 Church Road, Skippack, PA 19474).
Refreshments will be provided by Howard, Christ, Volpe, Berlinger. One more person is needed to help. Please contact Dini Vigliano.

Minutes of the Meeting – December 5, 2022

Update on Members
- Frank Gormley fell off his tractor and hurt his shoulder badly. He is awaiting further x-rays and tests.
- John and Joan Elliott’s son is receiving cancer treatments. Thoughts and prayers go out to them.
Election of Officers
- With no further nominations, officers for next year were voted in by Secretary Diane Hall. President – Carol Allen; Vice President – Fred Coyne; Treasurer – Phil Christ; Secretary – Diane Hall.
- Approximately 30 nominations for Special Awards (Most Spirited; Most Helpful) have been received. The awards will be presented at the Holiday Party.

Past Events
- Nov. 12 – Car tour of local senior living facilities in celebration of Veterans Day was cancelled because of weather
- Nov. 19 – Mardi Gras Parade, Lansdale. It was very cold. There is a video of the parade, including the cars, on the Lansdale parade website.
- Dec. 3 – Souderton Holiday Parade. Car participation was cancelled because of rain.
Future Events (NPMAFC-sponsored activities in bold)
- Jan. 1 – New Year’s Day – Meet at 10:30 am at the Worcester Elementary School for a car tour of senior living facilities, ending at 12:00 noon with a covered dish lunch hosted by Dave and Sue Wood. An email sign up for the lunch will be sent shortly.
- Jan. 8 – Holiday Party at the Bay Pony Inn – 4:00-8:00 pm. Price is $10/person, with the Club subsidizing the party. Carl and Ellen Berlinger are running the gift exchange again this year. Gifts should be $15 minimum (no chocolate, food or used parts); crazy /deceptive wrappings make the exchange more fun. Use your imagination.
- April 14-16, 2023 – MARC Membership Meet, Bay City, MI
- June – Club Picnic at Green Lane Park. Frank Gormley will be reserving the pavilion for this annual event. Possible date is June 3 or 10.
- July 30-Aug. 4 2023 – MARC National Meet, Hamilton, OH
- 2024 – No MARC National Meet
- 2025 – MARC National Meet, Gettysburg, PA
Updates on Cars
- Tom Hudecki reviewed work he’s done on a rod knock in the rebuilt engine in his truck.
- Tony Russo discussed his ’65 Chevy that died. It needed a new fuel pump and water pump.
- Carol Allen’s car wouldn’t start just before the Mardi Gras parade. She replaced the points with new points she had on hand.
- Bob Martino was contacted by a group in Maryland, requesting a Zoom meeting on his prototype chassis. Jay Ogle helped Bob create a 6-min. video (available on YouTube) on the Model A prototype. The car is ready to go to the upholsterer.
- Dave Wood is offering his garage (next to his wood shop) for anyone to work on their car (9am-3pm).
