Bruce Saylor is having an operation like Gene Yeager’s to fix problems with his back.

There is a Memorial Service for Ray Bosler Jr’s mother; longtime club members will remember her as a member.  The service will be held this Sunday, April 9 at Dock Woods Chapel located off   Detwieler Road in Kulpsville.  There is a meet and greet from 3:00 to 4:00 PM, followed by the service at 4:00.  Anyone interested should plan to meet at 3:45 in the parking lot of the chapel.  Antique cars are encouraged.  Carol Allen will have black ribbons to place on your Model A mirror.

The March 25 tour was postponed; it is being rescheduled for May 6.  Details will be sent out in an email; basic info – those in the area will meet at Zoto’s Diner on Rt. 309 at 9:15 to go to the Keith House and then the Wings of Freedom Aviation Museum.  Lunch will follow at Lancer’s Diner.

The April 1 tour to Harry Tucci’s car collection was a success.  There were 27 participants.

Carl Berlinger and Dave Wood met 2 veterans through an organization called the Compass Circle.  They got together with Army Specialist Military Policeman Phil Yost, and Air Force Master Sergeant Scott Wolfinger and gave them each $250 from our Holiday Party raffle.  Both men were extremely appreciative.

This led to a discussion of donating future 50/50 drawing proceeds; and there was a motion that was seconded to have the club’s portion of the 50/50 proceeds to be donated to a charitable cause when the proceeds accumulate to $250.
