Minutes of the Meeting – October 6, 2025
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by President Carol Allen. There were 27 people in attendance.
Secretary’s Minutes – The minutes of the September meeting were accepted as issued.
Treasurer’s Report – Treasury balance as of October 6 is $11,798.27. Mark presented a review of on estimated expenses and income from Feb. 2025 to Feb. 2026 in order to determine upcoming club dues subsidizing the Holiday Luncheon and funding the Penn Tech scholarship. Mark’s recommendations were approved as presented.
Upcoming Activities
The next meeting will be held at 7:00pm on Monday, November 10, at Trinity UCC Church in
Skippack. The church hall is not available Nov. 3rd due to setting up for elections on Tuesday. Refreshments will be provided by Gormley, Reed, Sensenich, Amy George, Ogle.

Treasurer’s Report – Treasury balance as of October 6 is $11,798.27. - Club members pay $40/person for the Holiday Lunch.
- MARC dues will no longer be paid by the Club. Members will pay these dues themselves.
- NPMAFC club dues will remain at $20/family.
- The Club continues to fund the Penn Tech scholarship next year in the amount of $1000.
- The Club will provide refreshments at tech sessions.
- The Club will provide its “normal” supplies for the Annual Green Lane picnic.
- The Club pays the rental fee for the Green Lane Park lodge.
- The Club pays the bartender fee and any overrun for the Holiday Lunch.
- The Club pays “reasonable” admission fees associated with a club tour or donates $100 to that organization.
- The Club pays parade registration fees.
Upcoming Activities
- Oct. 11 – Tech session at Ken Valeri’s facility (1400 Pennbrook Parkway, near the Pennbrook train station and Homewood Suites Hotel). 9am-12n. Our “experts” will be on hand. We’ll check for spark, getting gas, headlights, windshield wipers. Any questions, contact Tom Hudecki.
- Oct. 25 – Gerry Watson’s 90th birthday party hosted by his family. 11am-3pm at Hatfield Car Museum (41 E. Lincoln Ave, Hatfield, PA 19440). RSVP 610-608-5608. Gerry was a long-time member of our club. All club members are invited.
- Oct. 25 – Harleysville Halloween Parade – Indian Valley Middle School. Registration and line-up 9:30am; costume and decoration judging at 10:00am. Parade starts at 10:30am. Halloween costumes and decorations are encouraged. Participants are encouraged to arrive early, dress in their best Halloween attire, and bring their festive spirit.
- Nov. 22 – Lansdale Mardi Gras parade (74th annual parade). Parade starts at 1:00pm. The theme is “Discover the Holidays” (any holiday - New Year’s, Valentine’s Day, Memorial Day, Mother’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Flag Day, Indigenous Peoples Day, Hanukkah). Our club has been asked to drive the Grand Marshall, George Adams. Any questions or to sign up, contact Jim Reed.
- Dec. 6 – Souderton Holiday Parade – The theme is “Hometown Christmas”. Parade starts at 11:00am. Meet at Grace Bible Church parking lot. Everyone is encouraged to decorate your car (and yourself!) – but no Santas.
- Jan. 4 – Holiday Luncheon at the Bay Pony Inn
- John and Amy George were presented with a gift certificate to Bratton’s as a thank you for our tour of their Five Saints Distillery in Norristown.
- John Rossi’s 1930 Deluxe Coupe won second place at the Lansdale Catholic car show. There were approx. 100 cars at the show.
- Tom Congelosi’s 1931 Cabriolet took first place for the 1930’s cars at the recent New Hope Car Show.
- Carl Berlinger showed his 1966 Olds 442 at the recent Hagley car show, where there were approx. 500 cars.
- Phoenix Pub in Phoenixville is looking for a car to sit out front of the Pub for pictures on Oct. 17. Contact Cliff Craley for details.
- Carl Berlinger suggested some topics for a Spring tech session – lubrication, changing tube in tire, what tools, etc. should be kept in the car, how to keep the cars running on the road.
- Bruce Tempone is selling his 2016 F150 truck. It’s a super cab with 6½ ft bed, V8 engine, 4WD, 50,000 miles. (Blue Book value $23,000-25,000) Contact Bruce (610-761-2439)
- FYI - Creamery Tires in Creamery like working on Model A tires.
